Tulapop Saenjaroen (b.1986)

is an artist/filmmaker whose works encompass performance, video/film, and public projects. Tulapop holds an MFA from the Slade School of Art, University College London, and MA in Aesthetics and Politics program at the California Institute of Arts. He was a recipient of Experimental Film/Video Grant from Office of Contemporary Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture, Thailand in 2010. He also worked as an associate producer and a casting director for Anocha Suwichakornpong’s By the Time It Gets Dark (2016). His latest short film A Room with a Coconut View will have its world premiere at 71st Locarno Festival.

Tulapop has participated in exhibitions and screenings internationally including  International Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Kasseler DokFest, Moscow International Biennale for Young Art, Asia Culture Center Gwangju, Institute of Contemporary Art London, Seoul International New Media Festival, Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art Manchester, Tadu Contemporary Art, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria International Film Festival, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, Open City Docs Fest, Five Flavours Film Festival, Kunst im tunnel Dusseldorf, World Film of Bangkok, Numthong Gallery, Objectifs Centre for Photography and Film Singapore, Opalnest XXX Gallery Hong Kong, Korean National Film Archive.
