Role Play at Cloud/
CREATIVE WRITINGS: COLLECTION 1 “I WANT TO BE AN ARTIST” takes part in the exhibition Role Play at Cloud. The show is curated by Mary Pansaga.
10 – 16 June 2015
Opening reception Wednesday 10th June from 19:00 – 22:00 pm
Chomsuda, carrying two cocktail glasses, walks towards Ake who sits on a revolving chair.
This is yours
Chomsuda hands a glass to Ake from behind.
This is mine
Chomsuda bends down to give Ake a toast and starts drinking the cocktail.
Hmm…why do you put up with being so unhappy, your life is so miserable, it’s pathetic.
It’s retribution for my sins
What?…so you are resigned to your fate?
Do you want a cherry?
Chomsuda picks a cherry from her cocktail glass, places it between her lips then bends down to place it in Ake’s mouth.
What are you listening to…so boring!
May I change the music
The sound of classical music stops. Chomsuda changes a vinyl to rock music. She starts to move her head together with Ake, they both laugh and dance insanely and Chomsuda’s dress loosens down to her waist, revealing her red brassiere.
Dam this is fun!!!
Ake and Chomsuda dance until they are exhausted, they clasp each other’s necks and fall so heavily onto the bed that Chomsuda falls onto the other side of. the bed. Ake tries to lift himself up from the bed and then weaves over and falls back onto the revolving chair sitting back against the arm rests. Chomsuda stands up and turns the chair so that Ake is facing her, and puts her lips down to Akes lips, they drink in each other’s kisses

I’m In This Weird Part of Your Tube Again/
Popular music and whale songs combine with white fatties and ultra-offcut. Here is an alternate realisation of that weird part of your Tube.
A casual collaboration between a group of artists using video. A communal YouTube channel was set up to share videos made or found for the Video Handel Project. In the project we used one username and password; this anonymity allowed us the freedom to recycle, reuse and continually adapt and respond to each other’s shared work. For the duration of the exhibition we will continue to upload work to the YouTube playlist which will be streaming in the Telephone Booth Gallery.
Something special will happen on Wednesday night; other things will ooze in.
Participants: Jenna Bliss, Edmund Cook, Laura Cooper, Olivia Dunbar, Ian Giles, Tulapop Saenjoroen and Deniz UnalOpening: Wednesday 21st March 2012, 19:00 hrs
